For years, I've stalked the Build Your Own Arcade Cabinet Forums, and have told myself I wanted to build my own arcade cabinet.  After all this time, collecting spare PC parts & buying what I need to fill in the gaps, I finally have a separate working computer that I can use to make it happen.

EDIT 9/30/14: Finally got all of my parts scrounged up.  Now to start the cabinet.

CPU:Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor($37.49)
CPU Cooler:Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler($19.99)
Motherboard:Foxconn H97M Plus Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard($52.50)
Memory:Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory($40.99)
Storage:Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive(Owned)
Video Card:EVGA GeForce GTX 750 1GB Video Card($70.29)
Case:Cougar Solution (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case($19.99)
Power Supply:Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply(Owned)
Optical Drive:Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer($14.99)
Operating System:Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)($89.99)
Monitor:Asus VX238H 23.0" Monitor($114.99)
Total: $461.22
Now, the fun part... I just need to design and build the cabinet itself.  I suspect this will take me as much as a whole year, but I'll keep posting my progress as I go.
